Introducing Orange Inn

One. Reasons why I decide to open this accommodation
Its start is a back-packing trave in my University days. At that time I had a little moeny, but my pasion of traveling the world was very strong. So, I traveled Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan for 40 days. In that travel, I could meet various people, and experience many kinds of different culture. After that, back-packing has become one of the most important hobbies for me, and after starting a full-time job, I carry my back-pack and go foreign countries at least once a year.

When I talk with new friends in a domitory, many of them avoids visiting Japan. They are very interested in Japanese culture, foods, people, and so on and would like to visit. However, they have the strong image "Japan is VERY VERY VERY expensive country"

Recently I have felt that I would like the young people in all over the world to make a wonderful experience, as I did, in Japan. Also, thanks to long lasting deflation and devaluation of YEN, food price in Japan has become as cheap as other developed countries.

So, I decide to quit my full-time job and open this domitory. I hope that the young people all over the world could have a very precious experience trough traveling in Japan. Also, it could be a clue to know and like, my home country, Japan.

If you have a chance to travel Japan, why not to come to Orange Inn.

Two. Strange Exterior
This domitory is renovated from former accommodation for Japanese traditional sweets shop's employees. So, there are some strange points in exterior, and the most strange point is three doors on the first floor.

The door on the left was the original, but after discussing with local government about this domitory's structure, new door is established for the entrance of it.

In additon to that, development of another door is demanded by local government for private space. As a result, such a strange exteror with three doors has developed. However, this is a result of my maximum efforts for you to stay as cheaply as possible.

ThreeAIntroducing interior
Exterior is obviously not so beautifu., But interior is all new, and many arrangements has been considered on the basis of my experience as a back-packer.
