In Dec. 1942, IJN ordered Komatsu to build bulldozer urgently. Komatsu had modified G40 farm tractor to bulldozer only one month. It was the first Japanese bulldozer and used by IJN. First 6 units were sent to Attu, but they did not reach. Later, they were captured by the American on Kiska.
