SB is the first attempt of swamp vehicle. It had fins at track links and extra tracks at the bottom of hull as shown on below sketch.
One prototype was built in 1933 and it was used in inundating area of North China during China Incident. But, it was too heavy (10 tons) and too large (10m long). SB ended with only trial and FB was developed after it.
