The tractors of Type 97 Disinfecting Vehicle and Gas Scattering Vehicle were based on Type 97 Tankette. But, the engine was placed at the side of the driver like Type 94 Tankette and the turret was replaced with that of Type 94 Tankette. The trailers were the same as those of Type 94 Disinfecting Vehicle and Gas Scattering Vehicle.
