Ho-Ru was a light tank destroyer like German Hetzer. The development of Ho-Ru started in Feb. 1945 and a prototype was finished after June.
Ho-Ru mounted Type 1 47mm Tank Gun in the fighting compartment which was partially open-topped. Ho-Ru utilized the chassis of the Type 95 Light Tank, but its suspension was different from that of Type 95. The track was enlarged to 350mm width. The wheel guide pins were set in two rows to hold a road wheel between them. The sprocket of the driving wheel was the grating type to gear with the wheel guide pins like T-34. Above drawing of Ho-Ru is partially based on presumption.
